
My Story, Background & Inspirations
With over a decade of experience as a psychologist, my initial motivation for pursuing a PhD in psychology was to become an Assistant Professor. However, witnessing friends and family navigate personal challenges during my doctoral studies sparked a profound interest in understanding how psychology applies in everyday real-life situations. This experience inspired me to dedicate my career to helping others meaningfully.

I began my career at a Neuro Psychiatric Hospital and later transitioned to academia as an Assistant Professor in a Law College. Over time, I have been fortunate to explore diverse countries (i.e., Thailand, Brazil, Canada, and now in Europe) and immerse myself in various cultures because of my personal and professional journey. This exposure allowed me to observe and understand the psychological behaviors of people from different backgrounds, each shaped by unique societal norms, values, and traditions. By interacting with individuals across the globe, I gained profound insights into how environmental, cultural, and historical factors influence human psychology. This global perspective proved invaluable when applying my knowledge to Indian psychology. By integrating the global lessons learned, I have developed a more refined, culturally sensitive approach to understanding and treating individuals. At the same time, I run my private online practice, offering simple talk therapy, counseling, and psychological assessment services.
Living as an expat has provided me with unique insights into cross-cultural experiences and challenges. I believe in creating a collaborative and empathetic space where clients feel understood and supported as they navigate their joys, struggles, and goals. I am passionate about my work and the people I meet. I like taking the time to explain and discuss the complexities of the human condition in simple words. I enjoy helping people feel understood, confront their joys and their pains, and be a part of their motivation to change. I don’t believe in practicing from a distance, I bring my real self into the therapy
room in an accessible and open way indeed whenever I am available in India.

As a Counselling Psychologist, my training and education have taught me to work collaboratively with my clients, empowering them to make decisions for themselves to improve their sense of personal well being. Counselling Psychologists work across a range of human problems including Bereavement, relationships, Mental health issues (e.g. anxiety, depression, stress), Employee well being at work place and Developing growth mindset for enhanced performance at job, Stage fear, Presentation fear, and other significant life events.
I am trained in a number of different therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Root Cause Therapy.


I am wholeheartedly invested in the people I work with and believe therapy works best when it’s a collaborative process. I strive to maintain the most engaging, effective and ethically sound practice possible.
